When to Visit Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon has two distinct seasons that each offer unique wildlife experiences. The flood season (December-May) raises water levels by up to 12 metres, allowing canoe exploration deep into the flooded forest canopy. The dry season (June-November) exposes beaches, concentrates wildlife near rivers, and makes forest trails accessible.
