When to Visit Ladakh
Ladakh in northern India is one of the best places on Earth to see snow leopards in the wild. The winter months from December to March offer the highest chance of snow leopard sightings as they descend to lower valleys following ibex herds. Summer (June-September) opens the mountain passes and brings migratory birds to high-altitude wetlands.

🎯 Our Recommendation
January to February is prime snow leopard season. The big cats descend to the Hemis National Park valleys, expert trackers locate them on rocky slopes, and the cold, clear air provides excellent viewing conditions. Book a dedicated snow leopard trek for the best chances.
