When to Visit Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore is open October to June, with March to June offering the best tiger sightings as dry conditions force tigers to visit waterholes in daylight. The park closes during monsoon season (July-September). Winter months are pleasant but tigers are harder to spot in denser vegetation.

The best time to visit Ranthambore is October to June, with March to May being the absolute best for tiger sightings. October to February offers cooler, more comfortable temperatures, though tigers are slightly more dispersed.

Summer temperatures reach 40 to 47 degrees Celsius. Winter months from November to February are pleasant at 15 to 30 degrees. The park closes July to September for monsoon.
