What to Pack for Ningaloo Reef

🌤 Hot year-round (20–40°C). Whale shark season (Mar–Jul): 22–35°C. Winter (Jun–Aug): 15–25°C.

Ningaloo is all about the water — you'll spend most of your time snorkelling, diving, or swimming with whale sharks and manta rays. Pack primarily for marine activities, with reef-safe sunscreen being absolutely essential (it's the law in the marine park). Western Australia's sun is fierce, so double down on UV protection for both land and water.
